Step by step migration of ASP.NET Core 2.2 to 3.1

In order to upgrade/migrate asp.net core version to 3.1 following steps to be perform.

HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error
The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

If you getting this error after publishing Asp.net application in IIS7. This is because the asp.net not installed in IIS to install Asp.Net follow the followthe  stepsgiven below.
  • go to control panel  >> Programs & Features >> Turn on Windows features on or off>> Maximise the Internet Information System>> then you can see  following screen. 
  •  
  •  click on Asp.net
  • Click Ok
